Whether you are young or old, single, married or in a relationship, female, male, well-off or poor, you are welcome at All Saints’ Sanderstead, St. Antony’s, Hamsey Green, St. Edmund’s, Riddlesdown and St. Mary’s, Sanderstead.
You can come just as you are - a child of God and an inheritor of God’s grace. On behalf of the whole Anglican Christian community in Sanderstead, we warmly invite you to join us for worship and church life, that together we try to understand God’s purposes for us and his world, bringing our faith, our doubt, our qupestions and our answers.
The Team Ministry is a federation of Churches that are committed to working together, sharing resources and sharing faith. Together, they seek to reveal something of God’s love to the community they share.
The New Sanderstead Team Ministry is made up of the following churches:
- All Saints’ Church, Sanderstead
- St. Antony’s Church, Hamsey Green
- St. Edmund’s Church, Riddlesdown
- St. Mary’s Church, Sanderstead (LEP with Sanderstead United Reformed Church)
Church members are encouraged to see themselves as belonging to the “Team” rather than exclusively to one church. Each church has it’s own tradition of worship and levels of lay participation. The Team is NOT designed to have four Anglican Churches that are carbon copies of each other!
Each Church is confident in its tradition, and each will have a valuable contribution to make to the team.
All Saints' has two teams of Handbell Ringers who give performances in the church and the llocal community, the SAS Ringers and the 2 O'Clock Bells. For more information please see their website at www.sandersteadbells.org.uk.
